We are in mourning....our beloved Cubs lost to those stinkin' Dodgers and are out of the playoffs. Not a fitting ending to their marvelous season....Wait til next year! :-)
I feel your pain Aunt Linda. My roommate and I watched the first two games, and decided maybe it would be better if we didn't watch the third, but alas... it made no difference. There is mourning in Evansville too.
Some of us here feel your pain; there is grieving in Grants Pass, or more specifically--anquish in Ashland--not because the Cubs lost but because the White Sox lost! Boo! Hoo! Too bad Chicago!
Some would regard me as a "senior citizen" - at least the AARP keeps sending me offers! I have been alive for 59 years, a Christian for 38, and was a teacher for 25 years. I enjoy traveling, playing games with friends and family, reading occasionally, and watching old TV programs. I enjoy participating in Bible Study Fellowship - a most challenging study, and a huge blessing in my life. I love singing, from sacred music to show tunes. I look forward to the challenges of the new school year, trusting God will be with me each step of the way.

You can still cheer on the chicago White Sox. :) Have a great day anyway!
